Dulux’s new range of EnvirO2 paints also has an independently verified and registered Environmental Product Declaration (EPD).

Dulux receives Global GreenTag certification

Dulux’s new product range EnvirO2 has achieved a Platinum Health and Green Rate Level A certification with Global GreenTag’s product health declarations, making Dulux the only major Australian paint brand to receive these internationally recognized eco-accreditations across a full range.

Earning GreenTag certifications, EnvirO2 is low-odour and has very low VOC content (less than one gram per litre). The range includes a water-based enamel semi-gloss, an acrylic sealer undercoat and interior low-sheen and matt offerings. Colours for EnvirO2 paint, which is available in 4 L, 10 L and 15 L cans, are tinted from a vivid white base.

Sue Pham, Dulux senior brand manager, says receiving Global GreenTag certification is a testament to the quality of EnvirO2. “Some low-VOC paints can compromise on performance, but EnvirO2 delivers a premium finish that is washable, stain-resistant and helps to prevent mould growth without compromising on quality and application properties, such as opacity and finish,” Pham says.

Global GreenTag certifies over 14,000 products for more than 120 companies with factories in 22 countries across four continents. dulux.com.au
