Flexible and adaptable to design requirements, rack arm louvre systems from Shade Factor can be installed for exterior and interior applications on vertical, horizontal and angled planes.

Versatile external and internal louvre systems

Shade Factor’s rack arm louvre systems provide great freedom of configuration for all design needs, in part because the system positions the slats in front of the supporting frame.

The absence of a perimeter frame means that the louvre system can be adapted to irregular shapes, such as circles, trapezoids and other asymmetical form types. Further, the manual or motorized slats can be tilted to allow optimum solar control and reduce heat, or closed to promote absolute user privacy.

To produce a myriad of architectural effects, the versatile pivoting slat clip system adapts to a range of different slat profiles. Nearly endless colour options are available because both the supporting arms and extruded slats are powdercoated or anodized to specification; a Western red cedar option can also be supplied on request.

Additional support for design visions comes from the system’s numerous installation options. Rack arm louvre systems from Shade Factor can be specified to suit any external or internal vertical, horizontal or sloping plane. shadefactor.com.au/external-sun-shading/louvres/rack-arm-louvres
