PVC-free Kenafine membrane fabrics combine kenaf plant fibres and polyester fibres.

MakMax Kenafine membrane fabrics

Kenafine is an environmentally friendly membrane material from MakMax Australia.

Kenaf is an annual herb that absorbs harmful carbon dioxide better than any other plant or tree. Kenafine is made by weaving kenaf plant fibres and polyester fibres into a base fabric and coating it with thermo-plastic resin. The membrane does not contain any PVC and does not cause toxic fumes when burnt, but can be recycled instead.

Kenafine fabrics are suitable for various MakMax membrane applications.
