Designed by Pearson Lloyd for Tacchini, Polar is an original and versatile system for creating changeable seating. Polar is constructed from a hardwood frame and a differentiated density-foam filling. It is available in six sofa types – all with solid volumes and oblique cuts to create the impression of a constantly changing and constantly moving space.
Also available in the Polar collection is a side table in matt or gloss polypropylene, and a lounge or ottoman fully upholstered in fabric or soft leather. Samples are available to view at Stylecraft from April 2009.
