Dynamic landscape architecture and urban design practice Aspect Studios designed a sleek landscaped-inspired exhibition stand for magazine publisher Architecture Media at this year’s Designex, which ran in Sydney 22–24 April 2010 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Presenting Architecture Media’s suite of magazine titles – Architecture Australia, Artichoke, Houses, Landscape Architecture Australia and Architectural Product News – the stand also offered visitors a chance to trial the new Selector website. Live terminals on the stand enabled visiting architects, designers and building industry specifiers to search for products on this innovative website.
Below elegant David Trubridge Coral lights from Studio Italia, Mr Bamboo and Eco Concepts created screens of bamboo in pebble-filled planter boxes. Underfoot, TigerTurf’s synthetic grass was a comfortable and sustainable alternative to traditional flooring. The stand was furnished with Launch stools from Stylecraft.
