Leading Japanese manufacturer Inax has developed the Thermo tile. Made of glazed porcelain containing millions of tiny air bubbles that reduce the heat conductivity of porcelain, when you walk on Thermo tile, your body heat is not drained away by the colder ceramic material.
Thermo tile can reduce heat loss from the feet by 25%, dries quickly due to hydrophilic properties and contains antibacterial technology. Underfloor heating performance will be enhanced but may not be needed when using Thermo tile.
