In an Australian first, Sydney will play host to the inaugural SPARC International Lighting Event to be held in June 2011.
From 6–9 June, both local and internationally recognized lighting experts will come together to showcase the latest in lighting technology and to participate in Australia’s biggest display of lighting innovations, networking opportunities and lighting experiences, all under the one roof.
The event begins at Doltone House, Darling Island on Monday 6 June 2011, where indoor and outdoor lighting displays are switched on for participants to see and touch before attending the opening ceremony on Darling Island Wharf. Two full days of displays and seminars from lighting experts from across the globe will take place on 7–8 June. The event will close with a gala dinner on the heritage Jones Bay Wharf on Wednesday 8 June.
