Baines Masonry’s Stack Stone is part of the Bellestone range of products. Stack Stone is a masonry block which has a natural stack stone face. The face is adhered to the stone using mason bond.
Yallah TAFE entered a competition between TAFE colleges at Sydney’s Royal Easter Show to construct a sustainable backyard. Yallah TAFE approached Baines Masonry with a request for the company’s Betta Block, which is made from heavy industry by-products.
Baines happily supplied Betta Block but to increase the aesthetic appearance Baines attached natural stone, in this case Stack Stone.
Yallah TAFE won the competition with an outstanding display, proving it is possible to construct a sustainable, expensive-looking environment on a suburban block on a modest budget.
