2013 Houses Awards shortlist

One hundred and twenty-five inspiring projects have been shortlisted in the 2013 Houses Awards. The Houses Awards is a survey of the best residential work by Australian architects, and these peer-judged awards have become some of Australia’s most sought-after accolades for residential architecture.

On the jury are Alice Hampson (Alice Hampson Architect), Debbie Ryan (McBride Charles Ryan), Jon Clements (Jackson Clements Burrows Architects), Peter Stutchbury (Peter Stutchbury Architecture) and Katelin Butler (editor, Houses magazine).

The Houses Awards is presented by Architecture Media, and supported by Cult, Artedomus, Fisher & Paykel, Geberit, Haymes Paint, Heritage Council of Victoria, Stormtech, Think Brick, Viridian, jury host SC Land and Melbourne accommodation partner The Hatton.

Winners will be revealed at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image in Melbourne on Thursday 25 July.

The projects are shortlisted across eight categories, with the best house to receive the premier award of Australian House of the Year. Visit housesawards.com.au to see the shortlist gallery and purchase tickets to join the celebration.
