Chiaro™ Screens have been used in the design of the Dee Why RSL Club in northern Sydney. Altis Architecture commissioned Di Emme Creative Solutions to fabricate twelve operable screens to achieve an indoor/outdoor ambience for the restaurant.
Each screen in Chiaro™’s Motif design pivots up by 90 degrees, opening the facade to the landscaped courtyard. The screens were laser-cut in 3-mm aluminium, and all the units were powdercoated in a dark bronze colour.
Di Emme’s painted finishes include hand-rubbed copper highlights over the powdercoat to achieve a warm, aged appearance.
