AWS recently released the new 225-mm double-glazed FrontGlaze shopfront framing system, as part of the Elevate Aluminium Systems Commercial Framing range.
The Series 936 FrontGlaze incorporates a 36-mm-wide glazing pocket and will accept up to 30-mm-thick Insulated Glass Units (IGUs). This system can be used in cyclone-prone areas and in other areas where tall units without central mullion support are required.
High water resistance can be achieved – Series 936 has been successfully tested at 1200Pa water resistance. The framing will accept hinged or pivot swing doors and double-glazed awning sash inserts are available. elevatealuminium.com.au
