Everbright illuminates University of Wollongong

Everbright E610 was the main translucent construction material used on five large sloped vertical walls and two large bike shed shelter roofs at the University of Wollongong’s Sustainable Buildings Research Centre (SBRC). The design brief for this new development was for a modern, unique-looking translucent system, with large unsupported spans that would provide an uncluttered architectural feature.

The client was looking for a self-cleaning product with superior panel strength, a long life span, superior thermal/acoustic performance and fire performance characteristics. These new state-of-the-art structures are aesthetically pleasing and let natural light flood through the buildings. The Everbright product was an obvious choice for this project and is manufactured in Australia. everbrightroofing.com.au
