Stoddart Infrastructure at One The Waterfront, Sydney

At the new One The Waterfront residential development in Wentworth Point, Sydney, Stoddart Infrastructure supplied and installed a series of shelters and furniture for the large communal recreational space in front of the apartment buildings.

Working closely with landscape designer Urbis and developer Piety THP, Stoddart was able to achieve an ambitious four-metre roof span for the shelters, while maintaining structural performance and a thin profile aesthetic.

Inspired by butterflies, the large wing-like canopies with central posts provide ample protection for the Stoddart Town and Park Metro Table Settings and DDA Barbecues. Further Metro benches and bins sit adjacent to the structures. The various elements are a mixture of steel, aluminium and hardwood timber, and feature a striking satin charcoal finish.

Stoddart Infrastructure’s quality of fabrication and finishes perfectly captures the luxury feel of the One The Waterfront project – which is designed by Stanisic Architects – and provides fantastic amenities to the nearby playground and green areas. Stoddart’s products include transport shelters, walkways, bicycle infrastructure and perforated metalwork, available throughout Australia and New Zealand. stoddart.com.au
