Warema mill-slat venetian blinds, which have perforated slat options to preserve lines of sight, are suitable for large commercial projects such as Sixty Martin Place by Hassell.

External venetian blinds from Shade Factor

External venetian blinds by Warema provide highly effective solar protection to residential windows and commercial facades.

The Warema specialized mill-slat venetian blinds return a high percentage of the UV and infrared components of the solar spectrum to the exterior and redirect daylight inside. The interior slat surface is a matt, non-reflective finish with perforated slat options available to provide exterior views.

Warema’s external venetian blinds were specified for two recent projects in Sydney: the large commercial project Sixty Martin Place, designed by Hassell, and the luxury apartment building Golf House, designed by Peter Israel of PTI Architecture and Collette Dinnigan. The Golf House architects wanted a sun-shading solution that could be operated by the occupants of each residence, while the Sixty Martin Place architects required a solution that could reflect solar radiation while limiting the overall facade reflectivity.

Warema’s external venetian blinds are a major contributor to achieving high Green Star sustainability ratings due to their energy-efficient, sustainable qualities. shadefactor.com.au
