Clear and insulating low-E glass

Optitherm low-E glass by Glassworks boasts exceptional clarity and insulation properties. The product has been designed to allow natural sunlight to enter a building and simultaneously provide reliable thermal insulation.

Glassworks’ Optitherm is a single-silver low-E glass, which is a clear-as-regular glass that performs better than uncoated glass. Optitherm is always glazed inside an Insulating Glass Unit (IGU) and achieves a Visible Light Transmission (VLT) figure of 80% with a Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) of 0.62 and a U-Value of 1.6. This score indicates that the glass is exceptionally insulating for its clarity.

As a low-E glass suitable for heating-oriented climates and available at a manageable price point, Optitherm is a popular choice for residential applications, including multi-residential settings that require a clear glass and thermal comfort. Opitherm low-E glass is available in Clear or Grey options.
