Inspired by global hot spots, the Spirit of Place carpet collection from Lees Carpets takes a distinctly international approach. Shanghai, Istanbul, Kyoto, and Tokyo – the individual designs, like the cities they are named after, evoke visions of colour and pattern, history and lifestyle, art and architecture.
Drawing inspiration from the visual and symbolic stories of these global cities, a team of international designers from Lees and BMW Group Designworks USA created the Spirit of Place collection to bring an international flavour to interior environments.
Shown here is Tokyo in a warm Seaspray hue, one of the modular carpets in the collection. It comprises 35% recycled material.
