The Syncra freestanding awning system by Germany’s Markilux offers an innovative approach to sun shading. The awning’s freestanding powdercoated steel structure supports dual awnings that can cover up to 56 square metres per unit, or up to three Syncra systems can be custom configured to provide coverage up to 168 square metres.
The Syncra frame can be set into concrete or bolted down for future relocation. The two awnings can be operated separately for partial coverage. Offering all-year sun and rain protection using Markilux Sunsilk SNC or Perla FR fire-retardant fabrics, the Syncra is ideal for outdoor entertaining areas in residential projects and commercial spaces, including child-care centres, cafes, restaurants, pubs and outdoor market areas.
The Syncra can be accessorized with side wind-break screens, extendable valances, integrated guttering, sun and wind sensors, infra-red heaters, and lighting and sound systems.
