At the heart of the new Santos Place building in Brisbane is Somfy’s Animeo facade management system, controlling 1,200 motorized internal blinds over 36 floors. The design for Santos Place has achieved the highest possible six-star rating under the GBCA Green Star rating system.
Animeo was installed to meet the requirements for IEQ 5 daylight glare control Green Star compliance criteria as it gave the most cost-effective, high-performance solution. The excellent support and back-up given by Somfy on previous projects was also instrumental in Animeo being selected for the project.
