Lighting specialist Thorn has introduced a range of new products: the Cruz LED downlight, the SensaModular lighting control system and the Eyekon vandal-resistant outdoor light.
Cruz LED delivers an output of 2000 lumens with 94% efficient light output, with Dali dimming and the ability to achieve IP54 rating with a specific attachment. It is easy to install with the use of Thorn’s patented Sec-Lock system and features a unique active cooling system.
The downlight is available in 3000K and 4000K colour appearance operating at 37W and 34W with an efficacy of 51 lm/W and 55 lm/W. The concentration of light from a minimal diameter outlet combined with a high lumen package delivers glare free light (UGR <19).
For simple, cost-effective and easy-to-install lighting control, Thorn’s SensaModular is a portfolio of lighting-control products designed for
single-room and open workspace applications. An integrated system like SensaModular reduces energy wasted lighting unoccupied rooms and takes advantage of natural light to deliver significant energy savings.
Eyekon is a range of robust, vandal-resistant bulkhead lights designed for outdoor applications. The tough polycarbonate diffuser is attached firmly to the die-cast aluminium body (LM6 – marine grade) by tamper-resistant bolts, sealing the luminaire to IP65.
The range is available in two sizes, three designs (Visor, Cross and Bezel) and three light sources (LED, compact fluorescent and metal halide). EyeKon is suitable for bollard mounting and available with integral daylight control photocell and emergency lighting.
