Australian demands for water efficiency in the bathroom are continuing to increase. Basin mixers initially required a minimum three-star WELS rating, but greater awareness of water efficiency has seen increased demands for basin mixers with a minimum five-star WELS rating.
Raymor, a leading supplier of plumbing products to the Australian market for over 60 years, has responded to this increased demand and upgraded its project-line basin mixers.
Two of Raymor’s popular project mixers, Armada and Tapac, have been granted an increased star status. Both the Armada basin mixer and Tapac basin mixer have gone from a solid four-star WELS rating to a sought-after five-star WELS rating (six litres per minute). These popular basin mixers required no changes to design or look, allowing specifications to proceed as normal, with the only changes being to internal water-saving technology.
