Recycled oak flooring from Havwoods

Havwoods, a timber flooring specialist that is rapidly establishing itself as a supplier of choice for many top designers and architects, has launched a new, spectacular recycled flooring product – genuine reclaimed barn oak that has been made into a pre-finished plank.

Few floors have the visual appeal of recycled timber, which is warm, inviting and full of character. Havwoods’ recycled flooring makes both a perfect contrast to contemporary decor and a wonderful foil for something more traditional.

In practice, laying a reclaimed wood floor can be fraught with problems – even the most experienced fitting team can find it slow-going and the amount of wastage can be prohibitive. But that is not the case with this innovative new product from Havwoods. It’s the real thing – genuine recycled barn oak – but it has been engineered into a tongue-and-groove, ends-matched board that has been backed with another multi-layered board and given an oiled finish. This makes it quick and easy to fit with little wastage. It is so stable that it’s even suitable for use over underfloor heating.

Havwoods recycled barn oak is 18 mm thick and comes in mixed lengths (900 mm to 2000 mm) and widths (120 mm or 130 mm).
