Dulux has launched its 2016 Colour Forecast with four “Design Age” palettes, offering a journey through colour and craftsmanship. A collaboration with local artisan “makers” Porcelain Bear, Grazia & Co, Fleurage and Cakebread, Dulux’s forecast incorporates interior elements that personify the trends.
Future Past sees steampunk merge with modern design, creating a new version of the old. Deep traditional hues are made modern with the addition of mustard, pink and purple. Bio Fragility is inspired by natural and living matter. Flesh tones, lichen, moss and stone influence the palette’s subtle hues. Retro Remix sees experimentation in colour combinations, with acid brights clashing with faded muddied colours. Dark colours form the majority of the Infinite Worlds palette, juxtaposed with flashes of reds, pinks and coral and space-age metallics. dulux.com.au/colourforecast
