Baines Masonry’s Split Face Block retaining wall system was used in a creative wall design that blends well with existing exposed rock face, creating a safer roadside, pedestrian access and bike track. The retaining wall system is well suited to the earthy tones and textures of the area, creating an aesthetic that is both visually appealing and functional.
Since April 2016 the path and retaining wall have been of great use for residents, especially for those attending the local public school. The project was a collaboration between Wollongong City Council and Illawarra Coal. bainesmasonry.com.au
