The KV1 one-handle mixer tap is celebrating its 50th year as one of VOLA’s most iconic products. Designed by renowned designer Arne Jacobsen, the architectural composition, with subtle curves and precise junctions, was created to represent a perfect intersection of craft and technology.
When first introduced, the KV1 was a radical departure from the existing, traditional ideas of aesthetics and design. This approach quickly established VOLA as a firm favourite among innovative architects and forward-thinking interior designers. It led to the KV1 one-handle mixer being selected for the permanent collection at the MoMA in New York in 1974.
The KV1 one-handle mixer has ceramic disc technology, a double swivel spout and a water-saving aerator. It is commonly used in kitchen basin configurations, but is equally suitable for bathroom and laundry applications.
