The team at Dulux has revealed its Colour Forecast 2023 – a prediction of the colours that we can expect to see leading design outcomes for the next year.
Comprising three distinct palettes (Revive, Balance and Connect), Dulux Colour Forecast reflects our desire to bond with the environment, community and people we love.
Dulux anticipates that designers in 2023 will hero warm and nurturing colours that are grounded in nature, as well as pastel-hued colours that inspire creativity and signal a return to fun as pandemic-related restrictions continue to ease.
Based on year-round research into global and local trends, the colour forecast predicts the direction and evolution of Australian design.
Led by Dulux colour and communication manager Andrea Lucena-Orr in conjunction with Dulux colour forecaster and stylist Bree Leech, this year's forecast has been informed by global events like Future Laboratory London and Milan Design Week, as well as trend reports, editorials, catwalks, design launches, and engagements with international brands. dulux.com.au
