ArchitectureAU.com at Designex

Designex, one of Australia’s leading trade shows for the architecture and design professions, celebrates a milestone this year – 25 years of existence. In recognition of this milestone, ArchitectureAU.com will present the best of Designex 2013 as part of its reporting and reviewing role on important events like this, with a particular focus on what the exhibition has in store to commemorate its 25th birthday.

ArchitectureAU.com will be at Designex as part of the Architecture Media stand, alongside magazine titles including Architectural Product News, Architecture Australia, Houses, Artichoke and Landscape Architecture Australia. Architects, designers and specifiers are encouraged to visit the stand to see the latest titles and learn about ArchitectureAU.com, which is a current, insightful and image-rich website that is updated daily, and an archive of more than 20 years of architectural and design publishing. For 25 years, Designex has been the largest under-one-roof showcase for interior and industrial design, new products and appliances, materials and fabrication systems, textiles and more. It’s a cross-section of Australian design thinking about what specifiers need and consumers want.

It’s been traditional at such milestones for Designex to take stock with a look back at great designs it has discovered or displayed. At the 20-year mark, Designex curated a time-tunnel retrospective exhibition of 20 years of great design in chronological order.
