"Fingerprint of nature" is how designers Ludovica and Roberto Palomba describe the shapes in the new Palomba Collection by Laufen. Having won multiple design awards over the last three years, the Palomba Collection offers a complete range of basins and sanitaryware for contemporary bathrooms.
The new items in the Palomba Collection for 2007 boast imaginative and organic forms. The collection holds true to the modular concept envisaged by its Italian designers. The new items two freestanding washbasins, one built-in washbasin, two bathtubs and a selection of toilets and bidets have again been designed according to the dictates of nature. The theme that runs through the collection is the cube, created by humans and then hollowed and rounded by the elements.
The various items of the new collection can be combined, both with the past items and with Laufens other bathroom products.
The collection includes three new toilet suites as well as two bidets. Here again the shapes draw on natural forms. The bidet is reminiscent of a pebble that has been gradually smoothed and polished by the tide. The toilet is available as a floor-standing model, with or without a cistern, as well as a wall-hung version. The bidet comes in floor-standing and wall-hung models.
