Featuring over 500 exhibitors, annual trade fair Furnitex is an essential event for the Australian furniture and furnishings industry and is expected to attract over 16,000 local and international visitors.
Now in its eighth year, a highlight of the fair will be VIVID – Vibrant Visions in Design, the prestigious furniture design competition. The cream of Australia’s emerging designers will present their creations in commercial, concept, student and green categories.
Also returning is the highly anticipated international seminar series, with a line up of international and Australian presenters including Justine Fox, creative director and trend specialist of Global Colour Research, UK, speaking on interior design colour trends for 2011.
Furnitex is co-located with Decoration + Design Melbourne and is a major event partner of the State of Design Festival, running 14–25 July 2010.
