Zaha Hadid Architects chose Barrisol acoustic lighting for the training pool of the London Aquatics Centre. The centre uses comprising 138 custom petal-shaped Barrisol acoustic ceilings.
Barrisol Nanoperf acoustic finish has 500,000 0.1-mm microperforations per square metre, providing effective broadband noise reduction (NRC is 0.6–0.89). The unnoticeable microperforations provide sleek custom panels of up to 50 square metres in size, without the usual obvious acoustic finish appearance. Barrisol can provide over 200 acoustic test results for its four acoustic finishes: Nanoperf (A10), Acoperf (A20), Microacoustic (A30) and Miniperf (A40). Barrisol acoustics finishes are available in 11 finishes, including gloss, satin, matt, metallic and translucent.
