2013 Brisbane Open House

Explore Brisbane’s built environment as part of Brisbane Open House, which will this year be held from 12 to 13 October. The free event provides residents and visitors with the rare opportunity to discover Brisbane’s hidden treasures, as a multitude of contemporary, historic and environmentally significant buildings are unlocked.

Seventy-one buildings and structures will be open to the public, including Ecosciences Precinct (pictured), ABC Brisbane, QUT Science and Engineering Centre, Translational Research Institute and the BVN Donovan Hill office.

Held annually in conjunction with World Architecture Day, Brisbane Open House provides guided and self-guided tours to encourage people to explore, re-examine and engage with Brisbane’s built environment.
